The Hemingway’s website design process moved through the following steps:
Let’s take a moment to revisit the visuals from this web design case study blog series…
(This image containing color palette options was an important component of the Hemingways Design Document.)
At various milestones during this project, Hemingways was presented with, then returned Satisfaction Signoff documents signifying their full approval of the work completed and their desire to continue moving forward.
Our Satisfaction Signoffs insured that the project did not progress for an extended period of time without Hemingway’s 100% satisfaction.
After Hemingways approved and signed off on the homepage and internal page designs, we moved forward into the development stage of the project.
In the development stage, the approved designs, in combination with the site’s final content, were combined, coded, and integrated into a Content Management System (CMS) that would allow Hemingways to manage and update their website completely in-house.
The Hemingways website was built with WordPress as its CMS. WordPress is actually the most common CMS used on the web today.
Effective, goal-oriented design takes planning, communications, and a clear process.
By providing you with a glimpse into the design portion of a standard DisplayGround website design and development project, we hope it’s now easier to understand how much time, thought, and labor is required to put together a beautiful, brand-focused, goal-oriented design.
During our 10 years in business we’ve continued to evolve and refine our website design process, continually increasing its efficiency and flow. This has helped us exceed our clients’ expectations time after time.
We look forward to continued evolution, and we look forward to working with more amazing clients like yourself who understand that the beauty of a website’s design runs so much more than skin deep.
If you have any question at all, please post them below in the comments and we’d be delighted to provide you with more details.
